Storekeeper

Job Purpose:

Support the Boutique Manager and retail sales team to ensure operational excellence in the store including overall inventory management, stockroom and storage standards, and e-commerce shipments.

General:

• Work with the team on stock receiving and stock safekeeping. Handling inventory receiving and sending from the warehouse as well as mandatory stock-counting as per brand SOP and general inventory standards.
• Assist in packaging and wrapping of transactions, keeping track of consumables in store, and re-ordering from the corporate office as and when required.
• Process and keep track of all e-commerce orders as per SOP and ensure customers receive accurate orders as per agreed timelines i.e., pick and pack standards, arranging pickups by third-party last mile providers as well as communicating with customers for any returns of issues.
• Escalating issues or problems with e-commerce orders or overall inventory standards to the Boutique Manager.

Security :

• Maintain a close review of inventory in store both in and out to ensure the accuracy of inventory counts. Ensure any variance in stock counts or shipments is escalated to the Boutique Manager
• Conduct regular stock counts as per brand standards and SOP and conduct daily cycle counts to monitor the health of inventory in store. Formalize all counts with documentation and filing for future records
  Showroom :
• Comply and assist in maintaining all standards and regulations with regards to Health and Safety, Security, and Fire safety for the showroom are always maintained
• Assist the team and the boutique manager to ensure all displays are always placed as per specifications in order to maintain the VM standards of the brand
• Comply with all the instructions and regulations to ensure that all internal standards set for the showroom and external standards set by the brands are always maintained
• Effective back-office management is not limited to arranging stationery, shopping bags, cleaning materials, and all packaging materials

Team :

• Assist sales consultants and boutique manager in completing transactions by retrieving inventory from the stockroom and making sure inventory on the shop floor is replenished
• Display team spirit and cooperate with peers, maintain a good positive spirit at all times perform to the best of ability while ensuring discipline and compliance with company guidelines and standards
• Support the showroom manager and the team to create good harmony and teamwork within the showroom team members and with other members of the organization
• Adhere to the Uniform and grooming standards and ensure self-conduct is in a professional manner at all times.
• Be up-to-date on the Showroom SOPs, update from management and head office, and brands, and adhere to the same at all times.
• Report any issues or grievances in a timely manner to the showroom manager
• Support and comply with the employee schedules to assist the smooth operations of the showroom and provide coverage of the shop floor in the absence of sales consultants and attend to customers if necessary
